調查: 紐約員工尋靈活性 企業難以吸引留住員工

紐約州勞工部週三發布的調查顯示,紐約員工認為工作的靈活性是他們優先考慮的求職條件,而吸引新員工和留住現有員工是企業面臨的最大挑戰。

2023 年勞動力發展調查發現,帶薪休假、醫療保險和更高的工資,仍然是紐約州員工優先考慮的求職條件。不過,全職遠程工作首次成為求職者的首要激勵因素,員工也偏好在線培訓、虛擬研討會、招聘會和一對一職業指導。

與此同時,企業指出,他們難以吸引員工,並表示有限的人才市場競爭也加劇「人才荒」的問題。僱主最關心的問題也包括對通貨膨脹的擔憂以及加強的企業監管。

目前,許多紐約人正在尋找建築、零售貿易、醫療保健和社會援助的工作;而僱主最希望填補的職位則包括教師、商業司機和勞工。

州勞工部專員里爾登(Roberta Reardon )在一份聲明中表示,在大流行帶來的經濟不確定性後,許多企業表示仍在努力填補空缺職位,強調現時勞工部比以往任何時候,都更有必要利用這次的合作調查來了解勞動力市場的變化,以制定有效的策略來配對求職者和職位。
