無協議脫歐文件外泄曝窘境 英內閣大臣作解釋

早前有英國政府內部報告外洩,提及英國無協議脫歐,將會出現糧食短缺等情況,引發外界關注。對此,英國內閣官員出面稱該文件只是預測最壞情況,並表示英國已加快了相關的準備工作。

英國媒體「星期日泰晤士報」獨家披露政府官方文件,報告內容顯示,如果英國無協議脫歐,將面臨燃料、食物和醫藥短缺等災害。除了各大口岸嚴重塞車,還需在愛爾蘭交界設立硬邊界。報導也指出,這份檔案屬於「官方機密」。對此,英國內閣大臣戈夫解釋,該文件只是預測最壞情況,政府早就做好額外措施,確保英國準備好在10月31日離開歐盟,無論有協議與否。

另外,根據路透社匿名消息人士指出,是一名前大臣刻意洩漏機密文件,目的是要影響首相約翰遜本週與歐盟領袖的會談。英國政府此前宣布,已經簽署命令,啟動廢除《歐洲共同體法案》,正式啟動脫歐程序,會在10月31日脫離歐盟時生效。

英國脫歐的主要爭議之一,在於是否在屬於英國的北愛爾蘭,以及歐盟成員國愛爾蘭之間設立「硬邊界」。戈夫再三重申,不會在愛爾蘭邊境新增任何設施,只會基於國際法規的規定,做非常低限度的檢查。
